WINTER IN THE ALPBACHTAL VALLEY - Experience Pure Nature

Between the Kitzbüheler Alps and the Rofangebirge mountains, the Alpbachtal valley is an ideal destination for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, winter hikes, show shoe hikes and much more. The Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski region is one of Tyrol’s top 10 skiing gems. What’s more, the Zillertal and Achensee skiing regions offer skiing fun without end.

Skiing

145KM OF SLOPES, 24 RUSTIC SKI CHALETS, 3 SNOW PARKS

Just 15 minutes away, the Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau skiing hotspot is one of Tyrol’s most varied skiing regions. You can carve on wide slopes, make tracks in deep snow or test your metal in one of three snow parks.

32km of blue slopes are the perfect choice for beginners and casual skiers. Anyone that wants to push things a little more can choose from 78km of red slopes or even 18km of perfectly groomed black slopes. Freeriders will also be in their element under the Wiedersberger Horn towards Inneralpbach.

Winter Hiking

CIRCULAR LAKE HIKING TRAIL DIRECT FROM THE CAMPSITE

You can conveniently hop onto this perfectly maintained hiking trail from Camping Seeblick Toni. It takes you on a leisurely trip around the Reintaler See lake so you can enjoy winter’s nature in all its glory. The Antonius chapel is a great place to stop on the way. Guided evening torch-lit processions are particularly popular among our guests and children. Ask the office for dates.

The Alpbachtal valley holiday region also has plenty more interesting options for winter hikes.

EXPERIENCE WINTER ON FOOT

Silence all around you. You can only hear the crunching of the snow, the clicking of your sticks and the sound of your own breath. Experience the snow-covered winter landscape in a completely new way.

Free guided snow shoe walks are held three times a week in the Alpbachtal valley. Of course, anyone is free to go on their own snow shoe walks. After all, Alpbachtal is home to Tyrol’s most popular snow shoe walking routes.
